Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher won the Race of Champions Nations Cup for Team Germany in Bangkok on Saturday, taking the title for the sixth consecutive year.

The Race of Champions took place on a small circuit in Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium with drivers from different nations in teams of two and pitched against each other in a series of races. Vettel and Schumacher won their group stage before beating an Australian team of V8 Supercar champion Jamie Whincup and motorbike legend Mick Doohan.

In the final the Germans beat Team France which was made up of Romain Grosjean and rally driver Sebastien Ogier. Schumacher went head-to-head with Lotus F1 driver Grosjean and beat him driving KTM Crossbows before Vettel beat Ogier to give Germany a dominant victory.

A solo event will take place on Sunday called the Champion of Champions in which each driver will take on the others in another knock-out style tournament. Ogier will be defending his title after winning last year.
