Ferrari has added Mirko Bortolotti, Daniel Zampieri and Raffaele Marciello to its driver academy.

They join GP2 driver Jules Bianchi, who was signed up to the project last year after driving for Ferrari alongside Zampieri at the young drivers' test in December. Zampieri is the reigning Italian Formula 3 champion and is set to move to the Formula Renault 3.5 series this season.

Bortolotti has tested for Ferrari and Toro Rosso in the past but was recently ousted from Red Bull's young driver programme. He finished fourth in last year's Formula 2 championship and will race in GP3 in 2010.

Marciello is a 15-year-old karting prodigy who will embark on his first season in single seater cars this year in the Formula Abarth category in Italy.

Ferrari will also automatically recruit the winner of the Brazilain Formula Future Fiat championship to the academy at the end of the season.
