Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali says the latest technical squabble to hit the sport will not threaten the harmony of the Formula One Teams' Alliance, FOTA.

The latest row erupted after McLaren team boss and FOTA chairman Martin Whitmarsh suggested the Red Bull RB6 might be hiding a controversial adjustable ride-height system after it dominated qualifying in Melbourne last Saturday.

"On the technical side, I have nothing to say, because the Federation (FIA) must be the arbiter in these situations," Domenicali told Tuttosport.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner hit back by issuing an "absolute guarantee" that Whitmarsh was wrong in his suggestion.

Tension between the two teams was already high, after Horner suggested that McLaren's 'F-duct' innovation may have been against the regulations.

"It is part of the sport - putting pressure on the other teams and what they're doing," added Domenicali. "It's just a part of the game."
