Kimi Raikkonen says he has not made a decision on when he will retire from F1 but hopes to see out his career at Ferrari.

Raikkonen's future has been the subject of speculation due to his struggles this year at Ferrari and his statement at Silverstone he would "probably stop" after his contract is finished, with his current deal expiring in 2015. Raikkonen has also made it clear he has ambition to race in other series outside of F1 when he does retire but he says this is not something in his mind at the moment.

"I'm not a young guy any more so obviously I want to do something more in my life than just Formula One," Raikkonen told CNN's 'The Circuit'. "But I have no plans, I will finish my career at Ferrari, we'll see in the future."

Though his quotes from Silverstone were widely reported as Raikkonen announcing he would retire at the end of 2015, Raikkonen is adamant this is not the case.

"No I never said that," Raikkonen said when asked about his comments. "The only thing that I said was that I will finish my career in Ferrari, F1 career in Ferrari, then people came up with 'it's end of this year, it's now, it's then'. With newspapers they just try to make rumours, wanting to be the guy that writes something up, it's just rumours."
