Sebastian Vettel has continued his famous tradition of giving his F1 cars girls names by christening his first Ferrari 'Eva'.

Vettel is competing in his debut Ferrari weekend since his big move from Red Bull last year, ending an lifelong association with the team's driver programme. Ahead of the Australian Grand Prix he announced on his official website his SF14-T would be called Eva, though no reason was given for the choice of name.

The four-time world champion will hope Eva can held guide him back to the pinnacle of Formula One after he struggled alongside Daniel Ricciardo during his final year at Red Bull last year. The name lacks the spice of some of the previous female names he's given to his challengers.

Vettel started the tradition in 2009 when he christened his first Red Bull chassis Kate, though he soon had to call on Kate's Dirty Sister when he put the original in the Melbourne wall. Since then he's had Luscious Liz, Randy Mandy, Kinky Kylie and Hungry Heidi, before ending his Red Bull career with the underwhelming Suzie last year.
