Adam Johnson rules out loan move

England and Manchester City winger Adam Johnson has told his suitors that he is not interested in a loan move away from the Etihad Stadium.
Johnson has featured only intermittently since joining City from Middlesbrough in January 2010, and his chances of a first-team place have dimmed following the arrival of Sergio Aguero this summer. Samir Nasri, who can operate in a wide position, is also expected to join from Arsenal before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
But Johnson was in the XI that began the 4-0 win over Swansea on Monday and, as long as he carries on making the odd appearance as City battle on four fronts, he has no interest in a rumoured loan switch to Tottenham, Everton or Aston Villa.
"I know I can't play every game but as long as I play my fair share then I will be happy," Johnson told the Mail on Sunday. "People thought I'd be a bit-part player when I signed but I said to myself I'll show people how good I am and get straight into the team.
"I'd like to win the Premier League above anything else, including the Champions League. But we won't take anything lightly."
