Harry slams 'disgusting' Adebayor chants

Harry Redknapp has launched a scathing attack on a section of Arsenal fans for their treatment of Emmanuel Adebayor during Tottenham's 2-1 win on Sunday.
Spurs piled more woe on struggling Arsenal as goals from Rafael van der Vaart and Kyle Walker cancelled out an effort from Aaron Ramsey as the Gunners tumbled to 15th in the Premier League.
There was controversy at the final whistle, as Spurs assistant first-team coach Clive Allen accused Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger of being "two bob" after failing to shake his hand. Wenger was not happy with the officiating of the match, as he felt Van der Vaart's goal should have been ruled out for handball, while his Spurs counterpart Redknapp was disappointed with what went on in the crowd.
Adebayor is a figure of hate for many at Arsenal following his exit to Manchester City and antics when he scored against the Gunners. And a section of Arsenal support mocked the killing of three members of the Togo camp during the African Cup of Nations last January, which Adebayor survived.
"It was disgusting, yeah, disgusting," Redknapp said. "There was some pretty disgusting chanting at me but that's life. How do you chant something like that to someone? You can't be right mentally. You need help.
"There are kids up there as well. It's got no place anywhere in life, that sort of stuff."
Wenger was also disappointed by the chants, as he said: "We respect everybody and we want to be respected."
