Maradona won't offer Tevez escape route

Al-Wasl coach Diego Maradona has ruled out a move for wantaway Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez because he is too expensive.
Maradona, who was dismissed as Argentina coach after last year's World Cup, joined the Dubai-based club this summer and has rich backers who have already spent over £10 million to bring in new players.
He has guided the side to two wins after an opening run of three defeats, but was humbled 5-0 in the Etisalat Cup by Dubai on Saturday and was asked if the capture of Tevez would help turn the club around.
However, he told Sport 360: "Tevez is very expensive. He will cost a lot of money and right now we have a budget for around 5% of the fee he commands."
Tevez, 27, has indicated that he wants to leave City and came under fire for allegedly refusing to come on from the bench against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. He has currently been suspended for two weeks as the club undertake an investigation into events that the Argentine has described as a "misunderstanding".
Qatari-backed Paris Saint-Germain are currently the favourites to land Tevez as Brazilian side Corinthians, who reportedly made a £40 million bid for him a few months ago, have revealed that they are not prepared to return for him in January.
