Manchester City and Manchester United came out of the hat alongside one another in the FA Cup third round draw on Sunday.

Cup holders City defeated their local rivals 6-1 at Old Trafford earlier in the season, but this time they will be at home in the undoubted tie of the round.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side were knocked out of the competition by City at last year's semi-final stage, and the Red Devils will be eager to get revenge when the teams meet at Eastlands next month.

Arsenal, who last won the competition in 2005, will take on Championship side Leeds United at Emirates Stadium, while 2010 winners Chelsea play Portsmouth at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham have a home tie against League Two side Cheltenham, while Liverpool will play either Southend or Oldham at Anfield.

Stoke, last season's defeated finalists, will make the trip to Gillingham and Everton will be eager to avoid embarrassment in their game against Conference side Tamworth at Goodison Park. Newcastle host Blackburn in an all-Premier League tie.

Ties will be played on January 7/8.
