Mancini in dark as clock ticks for Tevez

Roberto Mancini has acknowledged that Carlos Tevez could remain a Manchester City player until at least the end of the season, after a series of exit doors were slammed in his face.
AC Milan were the latest to pull out of a deal for Tevez when, on Saturday, they said talks had broken down over a loan move. Inter and PSG had previously gone cold on the striker, who has not played for City since September 21 following a fall-out with boss Mancini.
"I don't want to talk about this question," Mancini said when asked about Tevez's future. "We have an important game tomorrow, a difficult game [away to Everton].
"I don't know [if he will be a Manchester City player come Wednesday]. For now, we have a training session. Tonight we go to sleep, tomorrow we wake up and have a game - only this."
Meanwhile, Mancini ruled out the prospect of title-challenging City adding any reinforcements before the transfer window closes this week. Asked if anyone will arrive at the Etihad, Mancini said: "No."
He was more talkative when it came to the topic of City's treatment by referees in recent weeks, however. City have seen Vincent Kompany and Mario Balotelli, two key figures, both slapped with lengthy bans at a crucial juncture of the season.
"It's [Balotelli's ban] in the past and we can do nothing," Mancini said. "It's in the past, finished - no change, nothing. I think we are very, very unlucky [with refereeing decisions] in the last 14 days."
