Tottenham wrap up Nelsen deal

Tottenham have completed the signing of defender Ryan Nelsen, after a delay in his move from Blackburn Rovers.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp made a surprise move from the New Zealander on deadline line, but a paperwork wrangle delayed the move.
Nelsen's agent confirmed on Wednesday that his client had been released from his contract with Blackburn, paving the way for his move.
And Tottenham have now confirmed the move has been ratified, enabling Nelsen to embark on his career at White Hart Lane.
"Medals, trophies are things you strive for," Nelsen said. "Blackburn got to five semis and never made a final, so it's very exciting."
Tottenham face Liverpool on Monday and Nelsen is in contention, despite playing just one game this season.
"He is fit and eligible to play on Monday," Spurs assistant manager Kevin Bond. "I've just had a cup of tea with him in the canteen. He is looking forward to the challenge."
