Dalglish 'unconcerned' by Gerrard's England snub

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is refusing to be drawn on whether or not Steven Gerrard should have been named as England captain for Wednesday's match with Netherlands.
Interim England boss Stuart Pearce surprisingly shunned Gerrard for the armband in favour of Tottenham's Scott Parker - just a few days after Gerrard had skippered the Reds to Carling Cup glory.
But while Dalglish has hailed Gerrard's contribution to Liverpool's dressing room, he has stopped short of criticising Pearce's decision - which may be reversed whenever a full-time England boss is appointed.
"[Look at] the footage of Steven Gerrard making a contribution to this football club; the clips all speak much louder than anything I could say," Dalglish said.
"Off the pitch he's a fantastic example as well. We're absolutely delighted with him as our captain. If somebody else picks him or doesn't, it doesn't concern me."
Gerrard lasted just over half an hour of England's 3-2 defeat to Netherlands before being removed as a precautionary measure, having felt a hamstring twinge.
