Harry Redknapp has said he is in two minds over the England manager's job - an admission which could open the door for West Brom boss Roy Hodgson.

Redknapp has been expected to lead England at Euro 2012 this summer ever since Fabio Capello resigned as boss earlier this year.

However, as his link to the post has become stronger, Spurs' form has suffered: they have fallen to three successive defeats in the Premier League.

Redknapp claims there is no connection between Tottenham's slump and England's search - but he appears to be cooling on the idea of taking the helm of the Three Lions.

"I'm not sure," Redknapp said in an interview with L'Equipe when asked if he would like to manage England. "I have a very good job at Tottenham today and I like it. But I do not know. We will wait and see."

Hodgson is thought to be high on the FA's list of alternative candidates if Redknapp cannot be lured away from White Hart Lane.
