Arsenal & Utd target Gotze extends Dortmund stay

Arsenal and Manchester United have suffered a blow with news that Borussia Dortmund's star midfielder Mario Gotze has signed a new contract with the club until 2016.
Gotze, 19, had been linked with a move away from the club - with Emirates Stadium and Old Trafford being touted as possible destinations - this summer but has now committed his future to Dortmund.
"Everyone knows how comfortable I am at Dortmund," he told the club's official website. "I want to be part of the club's development."
The Germany international, whose previous deal had been due to expire in 2014, had said in January that he would be happy to extend his stay at the club despite interest from abroad.
"Of course I can imagine extending my contact at Dortmund," he had told Bild. "I have always said how at home I feel here, and nothing has happened to change that.
"I have my family and friends here, and the whole Borussia Dortmund package with the coach and the team is simply outstanding."
