Balotelli drops in on Inter Milan

Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli took the spotlight when turning up at a press conference for his former club Inter Milan.

Given a couple of days off by City, Balotelli returned to his native Italy and took the opportunity to visit some old friends.

Andrea Stramaccioni was poised to take centre stage after being appointed as the successor to the sacked Claudio Ranieri, but the cameras were swiftly turned on Balotelli as he ambled into the press conference.

He exchanged pleasantries with the top table, shaking hands with officials.

City have confirmed Balotelli was given time off, along with the rest of the squad, and expect him to report for training on Wednesday.
