Wembley experience no advantage - Dalglish
Kenny Dalglish feels that Liverpool's experience of playing at Wembley this season will have no bearing on the outcome of the FA Cup semi-final with Everton on Saturday.
Liverpool triumphed in the Carling Cup final at Wembley earlier this year, defeating Cardiff on penalties, and they will return to that site for the Merseyside derby.
Dalglish claims he has no problem with having to travel down to London in order to face the club's rivals.
Asked if playing at Wembley already this season will help Liverpool, Dalglish said: "Maybe for directions it helps a little bit - the driver might find it. It's going to be what happens on the day - the build-up is irrelevant. Whether it's the best or most fortunate team, they're going to go through.
"It's a huge game, the semi-final of the cup. We have to go to London because, I remember years go back Spurs played Arsenal, and they had nowhere to play it, so they played it at Wembley. The other people complained that those clubs were getting a look at Wembley before they did, so they put the other semi-finals there.
"We can't have it all ways, it would have been ideal to have it up here - but then people would have said the London clubs have an advantage because they've played at Wembley. I'm sure the punters will enjoy the trip to London."
