Yaya Toure feels that Manchester City are on course to land at least two trophies next season, as they build on this year's Premier League success.

City got their hands on the league trophy after a remarkable 3-2 victory over QPR on Sunday, in which they scored twice during injury time to overhaul Manchester United in the table.

Roberto Mancini's side are expected to be active again in the transfer market this summer, with a host of players leaving and a few arriving: Robin van Persie and Eden Hazard have been linked with a move to The Etihad.

And Toure reckons the ever-increasing strength of City's squad will mean they enjoy success on multiple fronts in the coming years.

"We have been unbelievable," Toure said. "I thank all but I think next year will be more and I hope City will become a great club in the world.

"I will think about the new season and I hope it will be more exciting than the last one. I think the fans may enjoy it more because now we have fantastic players, they are growing. They have fantastic talent and I think next year we will get more cups than this year."

Toure admits that, if City had failed to beat QPR, the nature of their title failure would have been extremely hard to stomach. "With all this season, always doing well, to have lost the Premier League at home - it would have been a disaster, I think I can say that," he said.
