Van Persie agent coy on striker's future

Robin van Persie's agent is keeping his cards close to his chest with regards to talks over a new contract with Arsenal.
Van Persie, 28, has a current deal that expires in the summer of 2013 and, as he nears the final 12 months of the terms, conjecture remains over his future at Emirates Stadium.
A number of Tuesday's newspapers suggest Manchester City are considering a bid for the Dutchman, although elsewhere it is claimed the Gunners are ready to almost double his salary to ensure he stays with the club.
Van Persie's agent, Kees Vos, is refusing to make public his client's intentions, ahead of crunch talks with manager Arsene Wenger and chief executive Ivan Gazidis.
Vos is quoted in the Sun as saying: "We're keeping our negotiations confidential. I have been to a lot of Premier League games this season - including City ones. I watch a lot of players - my life does not revolve around Robin van Persie."
Van Persie enjoyed a prolific 2011-12 season with Arsenal, scoring 37 goals in all competitions, and he went on to be named the Footballer of the Year.
