The representative of former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas says his client is looking to continue his career at a club with a "strong technical plan".

Villas-Boas, 34, is among the favourites to take over the vacant Liverpool manager's position, but has also been heavily linked with replacing Luis Enrique at Roma by the Italian press.

The Portuguese manager, who was dismissed by Chelsea after eight months in charge, hopes to continue his managerial career at a club which is "stong and competitive".

"What we are looking for is a strong technical plan, that is solid and durable. Villas-Boas would like to return to coaching in these conditions, but if these conditions are not available, we would have no problems not working. I won't confirm or deny contacts with specific clubs,'' agent Carlos Goncalves told Romaglio Rossa.

"What we are interested in is a technical project, its outlook and a situation that has longevity. Liverpool? Again, we look for a club which is very strong and competitive. We will see if there are conditions that will attract us with any club.''

Roberto Martinez is still considered the front runner for the Anfield job, while Louis Van Gaal has been tipped to take over the sporting director role at the club.
