The Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says he is not looking to strengthen the club's attacking options over the summer.

Mancini was reacting to reports in Italy which suggested that the AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was a target for the Premier League champions.

Reports have also linked City with moves for the Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi and the Bologna striker Gaston Ramirez.

"Ibrahimovic is a champion,'' Mancini told Gazzetta dello Sport. "But I already have four very strong strikers. I just need them to compete in the Champions League.

"We are okay up front.''

City already have Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli, Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko vying for places.
