Arsenal forward Robin van Persie has admitted that Juventus are a "great team", although he has refused to discuss his long-term future.

Van Persie is currently preparing for the European Championship with Netherlands - who defeated Northern Ireland 6-0 in a friendly on Saturday - but speculation continues about his club future, with his contract at the Gunners set to expire in 12 months' time.

Clubs including Manchester City, Barcelona and Juventus have been linked with a move for the 28-year-old but Van Persie is remaining quiet on his plans - although he did admit that Juventus, the Italian champions, are an attractive option.

"My future? I have agreed with Arsenal not to discuss it," Van Persie said, according to Tuttosport. "I can only talk of my intention to play in the Euros and win it and then continue to win in the Champions League.

"Juventus? They are a great team, for sure."
