Saha urges Blanc to snub Spurs

Former Spurs striker Louis Saha feels Laurent Blanc should rebuff Tottenham's approaches over the managerial vacancy - and instead commit his future to France.
Blanc led France out of Group D in Euro 2012, despite a 2-0 defeat by Sweden on Tuesday, and they will meet Spain in the quarter-finals on Saturday. Prior to that loss, France were unbeaten in 23 fixtures.
He is being discussed as one of the leading candidates for the Spurs job, which became available following the sacking of Harry Redknapp earlier this month.
Former Chelsea chief Andre Villas-Boas is the favourite for the post but, with Blanc's contract set to expire after the Euros, he is an inviting proposition for any side looking for a new boss.
And Saha, who was released by Spurs at the end of last season, can see why Blanc, who played for Manchester United towards the end of his career, is in demand.
"He's a top manager," Saha told talkSPORT. "He'll always have interest. I can imagine him being in the Premier League because of his experience.
"I want him to stay in the job for France because he has been doing a terrific job, so I wouldn't like him to go to the Premier League yet."
