Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has refused to rule out a future move abroad, following recent talk of a switch to Major League Soccer (MLS) next summer.

Lampard, 34, was asked about his future on Chelsea's pre-season tour of the United States, but was non-committal about what his future may hold.

The former West Ham midfielder joined the Blues in 2001 and has been part of a Chelsea side that have won three Premier League titles and a Champions League in recent years.

"I am not sure. I have a year on my contract at Chelsea and we have a big season ahead of us," Lampard told reporters.

"It's up to Chelsea to speak with me about my future and at that time, I'll speak with them. I wouldn't rule anything out at the moment."

Chelsea have started their preparations for the coming season in good form, beating MLS side Seattle Sounders 4-2, before a 1-1 draw with PSG in New York on Sunday night.
