Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has been given a two-match suspension after being sent off during their clash with Tottenham for a push on an assistant referee.

Pardew, 51, has also received a £20,000 fine after accepting the charge of improper conduct.

He was immediately sent to the stands by referee Martin Atkinson following the incident at St James' Park.

The Newcastle boss will be banned from the touchline for the club's forthcoming games against Everton and Norwich.
