Rafael Benitez's agent has flatly denied speculation that he met with Juventus on Monday in order to discuss a possible summer move from Liverpool.

Reports in Turin claimed Manuel Garcia Quilon held a lengthy meeting with Juve president Jean-Claude Blanc in Milan on Monday in order to lay the groundwork for Benitez's possible move to Serie A.

Juve have been strongly linked with an interest in Benitez following their decision to sack Ciro Ferrara in January and replace him with Alberto Zaccheroni, who will only be in charge of the Bianconeri until the summer.

However, Quilon is adamant the reported meeting never took place and says Benitez remains committed to Liverpool, who have had a hugely disappointing season under the Spaniard.

"I haven't met with Juventus, I was here in Madrid," Quilon told Calciomercato.it. "I reaffirm that Benitez has a four-year deal with Liverpool so he remains there. But in the coming months I don't know what will happen."

Benitez is also believed to be a possible target for Real Madrid should they dispose of Manuel Pellegrini at the end of the season.
