Silva misses City's Ajax date

David Silva has been ruled out of Manchester City's Champions League trip to Ajax.
The Spain schemer picked up a hamstring problem while on international duty last week and did not feature in the win over West Brom.
Hope was raised that he could make the trip to Amsterdam to take on Ajax, but City jetted out to Schiphol Airport without the forward.
A 20-man party has travelled, with Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli, Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko fighting for the forward slots.
Dzeko is a man in form following his goals against the Baggies and he is looking for six points from the two meetings with Ajax to keep themselves in the qualification mix.
"Its difficult, I think we didn't start very well again this year as we only have one point and I think this game will be crucial," Dzeko told the club's official website.
"If we win then we play against them again at home and maybe if we get six points it will be different - much better for us."
