Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has confirmed Galatasaray have agreed a transfer fee for Wesley Sneijder, edging him further away from a potential move to Tottenham, Liverpool or Manchester United.

Sneijder has turned down Inter's offer of a contract extension on reduced terms and looks set to leave San Siro, with Turkish giants Galatasaray confirming this week that they had entered negotiations for the midfielder.

Moratti, speaking to Sky Italia as he left a board meeting, said: "Galatasaray's offer satisifies us. Now it depends on the player."

The value of the bid remains unclear, but Moratti indicated that Inter would still be open to retaining the 28-year-old if he agreed to the club's contract offer.

"We would be happy if he decided to stay on our terms," he said. "I haven't spoken to him, but if he did decide to stay on our terms, he would be a great help."

Turkish newspaper Milliyet reports that Galatasaray are prepared to offer Sneijder €6 million a season, plus bonuses, to join the club, although the Italian media believe the Netherlands international would prefer to join a Premier League club and is hopeful interest from England will materialise.
