Bacary Sagna has promised Arsenal fans he is "100% devoted" to their club, despite January links with a move away from the Gunners.

Recent media reports suggested Sagna, 29, would welcome a move to Paris Saint-Germain, leading to concern from sections of the Arsenal faithful over the possibility of another high-profile exit.

The former Auxerre defender is back in his native country this week for France's friendly with Germany and the right back told L'Equipe he is happy at Emirates Stadium.

"I'm 100% devoted to my club. I'm only thinking about defending Arsenal's colours until the end of my contract," Sagna, who is in talks with Arsenal over extending his current deal beyond 2014, said.

"The supporters are annoyed with me when they hear my name linked to PSG, but I haven't got anything to do with that. I've had no contact whatsoever."

Sagna has not represented his country since September 2011 after breaking his leg last season in games against Tottenham Hotspur and Norwich City.

He admitted that when news came through last Thursday he had been included in Didier Deschamps' squad for Wednesday night's game in Paris, there were "tears in [his] eyes".

He said: "I couldn't speak I was so emotional. In my head, I was thinking back to a year ago, and the games against Tottenham and then Norwich. I went over everything that had happened and said to myself: 'Finally some good news'.

"When I arrived at Clairefontaine, I took pictures of the bed, of my kit. I need souvenirs of my comeback. When I received my packet of kit, I opened it straightaway and looked at the new stuff. It's nice too."

Though he has overcome his injuries, Sagna has been unable to shake the rancour he feels towards Bradley Johnson, the Norwich defender whose tackle broke his leg a second time.

He said: "At that moment, I felt hate towards destiny. I was also annoyed with my opponent, because he didn't have to overdo things. For me, it was deliberate. I'm still angry with him today. You can injure someone, but after that... I will never forget it."
