Chelsea target Marco van Ginkel says he wants to play in the Premier League, but will not make a decision on his future until after the European Under-21 Championship.

The Vitesse Arnhem player's agent, Karel Jansen, revealed on Tuesday that the Blues are one of a number of teams, along with Ajax, that are interested in his client.

The 20-year-old is currently representing Netherlands' Under-21 side in the Israel tournament, although he was not involved during Wednesday night's 3-0 defeat to Spain, a result that confirmed the team as runners-up in Group B.

Reports in Van Ginkel's homeland claim that Chelsea have already agreed terms with the youngster.

The midfielder, however, refuses to talk about his future plans until Netherlands' participation in Israel comes to an end.

"The Premier League is a very good league, I think every young player wants to play there," Van Ginkel told Sky Sports News Radio. "I know what people want to hear, but I'm not going to say anything about that now. I have to focus on this tournament. After that, I will think about my future - not now."

Despite his side's loss to Spain on Wednesday, Van Ginkel feels that should the pair meet again in next week's final, then the outcome could well be different.

"They have a lot of good players," he said. "In the midfield, they play tiki-taka like Spain in the first team, and it's great to watch. First we must play against Italy, so maybe we play against Spain again in the final. Today was not so good from our side, but I think we can play better against them."
