Jones out of Germany clash with groin injury

Phil Jones has been ruled out of England's clash with Germany at Wembley after picking up a groin injury in Friday's 2-0 defeat to Chile.
The Manchester United defender saw his hopes of being fit ended after undergoing a scan on Saturday. He came off for club teammate Chris Smalling in the 57th minute, having made his first start at centre-back for England.
Jones missed England's World Cup qualifiers with Moldova and Ukraine earlier this season after suffering an ankle injury in United's 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
