The 'Huddlefro' is no more

Tom Huddlestone has finally had a haircut after ending a goal drought of nearly three years against Fulham on Saturday, having already raised £36,000 for charity to boot.

Having last scored against Arsenal in April 2011 when he was playing for Tottenham, Huddlestone vowed he would not cut his hair again until he next found the back of the net, and invited donations which would go to Cancer Research UK.

The midfielder's goal in Hull's 6-0 demolition of Fulham meant Huddlestone could finally go for a trim, and he brought in his own personal stylist to tame his mane.

And the finished article was immediately dubbed the 'Huddlehawk', perhaps as a tribute to the now departed 'Huddlefro'.
