Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is favourite to sign in-demand Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha on loan, according to reports in the British press.

Zaha has attracted plenty of speculation since his £15million move from Crystal Palace, while new Eagles boss Tony Pulis recently stated he was keen to bring the 21-year-old back to Selhurst Park.

Newcastle have also expressed an interest to capture the signature of Zaha, but the new Cardiff City boss is thought to be keen to bring the young talent to South Wales.

Solskjaer is already making moves in the January transfer window, with the Daily Mail reporting Heerenveen midfielder Magnus Wolff Eikrem and Mats Moller Daehli are both close to deals with the club.

Both players are former United youth graduates, while 18-year-old Daehli comes from Solskjaer's former club Molde. Eikrem was present at Cardiff's FA Cup third round win over Newcastle.
