Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has revealed Manchester United are unwilling to loan Wilfried Zaha back to Selhurst Park.

Zaha moved to United from Palace in the summer but, having had little first-team action, Pulis - who replaced Ian Holloway as Palace boss in November - had said last month that he hoped to sign the winger on loan.

However, amid reports that Cardiff are leading the race to sign Zaha, Pulis has said he does not expect to see the 21-year-old back at Palace.

"We've spoken to David Moyes about Zaha and I don't think he's too keen on him coming back to London," he told talkSPORT. "It's not a problem for us - he's a Manchester United player. We don't think it's a goer, although we were very keen if there was a possibility to take him on."

Pulis remains hopeful that Palace will be able to bring in other signings in January as they seek to exit the relegation zone.

"There are irons in other fires and we're working hard to bring other players in," he said. "It's what we need to do. I said when I came here that this window was important. If we can have a good window, that gives us a better opportunity of staying up."
