West Ham grab Nocerino and Borriello on loan
West Ham have announced the signing of AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino on loan until the end of the season.
Manager Sam Allardyce also completed the signing of Marco Borriello on loan from Roma, also until the end of the season.
Nocerino, 28, is an Italy international who scored one of the penalties that knocked out England at the quarterfinal stage of Euro 2012. He began his career at Juventus, before spending time on loan at Genoa, Messina and Piacenza before joining Palermo in 2008.
Nocerino left for AC Milan in the summer of 2011 but has fallen out of favour this season and has opted to continue his career in London in the hope of raising his chances of playing for Italy at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
