Ashley Cole hits out at lack of playing time
Ashley Cole has hinted at his displeasure with his current situation at Chelsea, using Twitter to make a point to fans that they should not get used to seeing him in action.
Cole has featured in just 23 games for Chelsea this season after being a near ever-present in his previous seven seasons at the club, with Jose Mourinho favouring Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back.
Cole did start his fourth game of 2014 on Sunday in the 1-0 FA Cup victory over Stoke at Stamford Bridge, but made the following comment on Twitter:
"@Glyn1980: Well played today Ash, we look much better with you in the back 4. #fact @TheRealAC3" cheers mate just don't get used to it
— Ashley Cole (@TheRealAC3) January 26, 2014Cole is out of contract at the end of the season although it is believed that Mourinho wishes to keep the 33-year-old at the club.
