Ibrahimovic denies 'destroyed' Premier League interview
Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Sunday denied taking part in an interview published a day earlier by The Mirror in which he was quoted as saying he would have "destroyed" the Premier League had he ever played in England.
Ibrahimovic issued the denial on Twitter, writing:
I have not talked to any UK journalist or anybody at The Mirror, not the first time this happens. The Mirror is a joke!http://t.co/YpO9tSMMTa

The Mirror article quoted Ibrahimovic as saying he was confident he would have had success in England.
"If I had played there, I would have destroyed it, like I have everywhere else," he reportedly said.
At age 16, Ibrahimovic declined an opportunity for a trial at Arsenal and joined Ajax instead.
In the article, Ibrahimovic also reportedly lashed out at critics who would belittle him for never testing himself in England, and even took a shot at Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, whose title drought with the Gunners has passed eight years.
"Arsenal could have happened, as everybody knows - but I would not do a trial. Who do you think regrets that more, Arsene Wenger or Zlatan?"
