Sturridge prepares to celebrate
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge does not think he will be able to resist celebrating if he scores against his former club Chelsea as Brendan Rodgers' side continue their push for the title.
The England forward missed his side's 3-2 win at Norwich last weekend with a hamstring problem that was not considered to be long-term and hopes to be fit to face his old team at Anfield on Sunday.
Sturridge said: "Hopefully this weekend I'll be back," Sturridge said. "I'm not too sure if he'll [Rodgers] play me or not. We'll have to see."
If picked, Sturridge will face the club he left for £12 million in January 2013 and he was asked if he would celebrate if he scored against his former side.
"I would like to show respect to my former club," he said as league-leaders Liverpool look to make it 12 wins in a row. "But if I were to come on and score in the last minute I'm going to be on a mad one, aren't I? I don't want to - but I don't know if I could control myself if that happened."
