Palermo confirm Tottenham interest in Kjaer and Cavani

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with his Serie A club to sign Simon Kjaer and Edinson Cavani.
Danish defender Kjaer and Uruguay forward Cavani would be made available for a combined fee of £28 million, according to Zamparini.
"The interest from Tottenham in Cavani and Kjaer is real," the Palermo chief said. "Negotiations are taking place and the total price for them both would be about €35 million."
Reports in Germany claim Wolfsburg have made a £12 million bid for Kjaer, who said last week that he wanted to remain at Palermo, and Manchester City are also tracking the 21-year-old.
Meanwhile, Cavani told La Gazzetta dello Sport he wanted to move to Inter.
