Khedira and Di Maria set to leave Madrid?

Sami Khedira's agent insists the Real Madrid midfielder is not in talks over a move to either Arsenal or Chelsea.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with Khedira this summer and, while it was reported a fee had been agreed for the German, the club were thought to have concerns over his wage demands.

"We are not in talks with Arsenal," the player's agent, Jorg Neubauer, told Telegraph Sport."I don't think a fee can have been agreed, otherwise I would have been told.

"When a club have an interest I am sure they will call me and we will speak about things. The same goes for Chelsea."

Khedira, who only has a year remaining on his contract at Madrid, was favoured by Jose Mourinho during his reign at the Bernabeu and the Daily Mail claims the Chelsea manager is attempting to persuade the 27 year old to move to Stamford Bridge.

After winning the World Cup with Germany in Brazil, Khedira has taken a holiday but Neubauer left the door open for a move away from Madrid by making clear the club have not made a persuasive offer to commit to them long term.

The agent said: "We are talking to Real Madrid about his contract, but nothing is close to being decided. Sami has just returned from the World Cup and has gone on holiday."
