Hart predicts winning run for resilient City

Joe Hart is confident Manchester City will bounce back and progress despite their painful late setback at Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
They eventually went down 1-0 in their opening Group E Champions League game after withstanding the German side for most of the match, but the goalkeeper says City have already proved their resilience in the competition.
"We showed that we can match Bayern Munich," Hart told City's official website. "But we have some very tough games and we have to play well against CSKA [Moscow] and Roma now. Last year we had a poor start against Bayern but we won the rest of our games and qualified - we're confident we can do that again this time.
"We fought hard all night against a really good team and had chances as well - we played well but just a nasty deflection at the end has done us and Jerome Boateng comes back to haunt us.
"If that Kun [Sergio Aguero] chance goes in at the end it would have been a completely different story. It would have been a well deserved draw, we made good clearances, we made good blocks and we made them work hard for everything. I tend to be busy against German teams but it's just a shame we didn't come away with the result - that's the important thing.
City full-back Bacary Sagna, who filled in for the suspended Pablo Zabaleta, was equally disappointed to see his side finish the game without anything to show for it.
"We kept working really hard until the end and it was a goal at the end but we had chances as well," Sagna said. "We played against great players, one of the best teams in Europe but we defended as a team.
"We kept the ball, not as much as they did but we played well and of course we're disappointed. We need to think about Chelsea now as we have a very difficult game on Sunday. It's very bad because until the end we were focused and we conceded a poor goal."
City manager Manuel Pellegrini could not carry out any post-match media duties because of his touchline ban. Instead, his assistant Ruben Cousillas, who called the shots from the technical area, spoke of City's misfortune.
"Definitely we are frustrated. We played a really good game and also [gave] good entertainment for the people," Cousillas said. "We had two teams trying to score goals but to concede in the last minute was frustrating.
"It's the first game, we have only just begun. There are many games ahead and we don't have to be too sad. We can still be first in the group."
