Wolves sign French midfielder on loan

Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed French midfielder Adlene Guedioura from RSC Charleroi on a six month loan deal, with a view to a permanent move.
The 24-year-old becomes Wolves' second signing of the transfer window, and joins the Premier League side from the same Belgian club as winger Geoffrey Mujangi Bia.
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy was delighted to sign Guedioura and said: "Adlene is an all-round midfield player who is very mobile and can get up and down the pitch.
"Technically he is also very good and has the physical characteristics to be able to cope with the Premier League," McCarthy told the club's website. "He's another player who has been scouted abroad by (Ian Evans) and I'm delighted we've been able to bring him in.''
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey added: "He plays so much like an British-type all-action midfielder that he's known for tackling almost too hard - people at his club find it difficult to get their heads around. He has such an incredible engine."
The six foot tall midfielder's mother played international basketball for Spain and his father played international football for Algeria.
Wolves must now wait to see how quickly Guedioura's international clearance arrives before knowing whether he can be included in the squad to face Liverpool on Tuesday.
