Nice general manager Patrick Governatori has revealed that he expects striker Loic Remy, who has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, to stay at the club this summer.

France international Remy has been rumoured to have attracted interest from a host of English clubs, with the most recent suggestions stating that Tottenham were ready to launch a bid.

Governatori has revealed that Tottenham have yet to show any concrete interest in the player, and that West Ham have not returned to the negotiating table since holding a "real talk" with Nice in July.

"For me, Tottenham is over and I even can't see anymore opportunity for Loic to move to England," Governatori said in L'Equipe. "We did not receive anything from Tottenham. When people are interested in a player, they talk.

"We haven't had anything since West Ham, who we had a real talk with last month. There is nothing serious anymore from England."
