Sunderland capture Gyan

Sunderland have broken their transfer record to wrap up the signature of Asamoah Gyan.
The forward turned heads with his displays for Ghana at the World Cup finals and had a host of clubs on his tail.
It emerged on deadline day that the Black Cats had jumped to the head of affairs and he arrived in the North East for a medical on Tuesday.
The formalities were completed with less than an hour to run on the summer transfer window, with Gyan putting his name to a four-year deal.
Exact terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but it exceeds the £10 million Sunderland paid for Darren Bent in 2009.
Sunderland have recouped some of the outlays by selling Maryn Waghorn to Leicester City.
