Bentley expected to have medical at Birmingham

David Bentley's Tottenham nightmare could soon be over as he prepares to undergo a medical at Birmingham, according to reports.
Bentley has made just three appearances for Spurs this season, and he is yet to enjoy the taste of victory. Boss Harry Redknapp hopes to conclude a deal for David Beckham over the weekend, which would render Bentley Tottenham's third-choice right-wing option.
It is believed the former Blackburn man will travel to St Andrew's over the weekend, where Alex McLeish hopes to tie up a loan deal until the end of the season.
Bentley would act as a direct replacement for Sebastian Larsson, who is attracting interest from Newcastle. Larsson only has six months left on his current deal, and Alan Pardew is expected to wrap up a £1.5 million deal.
A move away from White Hart Lane for Bentley would arrive just a week after his wife allegedly launched abuse at Harry Redknapp on her personal Twitter account. Wife Kimberley reportedly tweeted: "What's happening?... F*** all and its starting to wind me up!! Sort it out Harry for f*** sake."
