DJ backing Adam to stay at Blackpool

Blackpool forward DJ Campbell is positive Charlie Adam will pledge his future to the club.
Adam has been one of many success stories at Blackpool this season, but his future is in doubt due to a wrangle over his contract and interest from elsewhere. There is a fear the former Rangers man will be lured away from Bloomfield Road in January, but Campbell feels Adam wants to continue his career with Ian Holloway's side.
"Chas is a great player," Campbell said. "I am sure he wants to stay, I know he wants to stay. If we can keep everyone together we will be fine. We will just see what happens."
Blackpool have left their pre-season detractors with egg on their faces after making a superb start to life in the top flight, but Campbell is aware their hard work will count for nothing if they do not secure their place in the Premier League.
"We are all in it together and that is what makes us so special," Campbell said. "We have a good team and a good manager. People wrote us off before the season started and that was fuel for our fire. It could not happen to a better bunch of lads.
"We want to stay in this league and need a few more points to get safe. That is our goal, we are not silly, and if we can achieve that maybe we can push on."
