Babel agrees Hoffenheim move

Just a matter of hours after manager Kenny Dalglish stated Ryan Babel would not be leaving Liverpool in January, the club have announced the forward has agreed a move to Hoffenheim.
At the press conference on Monday morning, Dalglish ended talk of a move to either Ajax or Hoffenheim for Babel. He said: "He is staying here."
However, those words now look somewhat hollow as the Reds have released a statement confirming the Netherlands international is bound for the Bundesliga.
"Ryan Babel has agreed a move to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim," read a statement on Liverpool's official website. "The Dutch international will fly to Germany tomorrow to finalise the deal.
"The move comes six days after Liverpool accepted a bid for the 24-year-old striker from the Bundesliga outfit."
Babel has struggled to nail down a first-team place since joining from Ajax in 2007. He had indicated a preference to return to Ajax, but now seems set to ply his trade in Germany.
