Harry Redknapp has confirmed Aaron Lennon has shaken off his bout of sickness and will be in the frame to face Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League quarter final.

Lennon hit the headlines when pulling out of Tottenham's defeat to Real last week during the warm-up. Many have pointed the finger at Lennon for the size of the 4-0 defeat. Lennon came out fighting, insisting there was no way he should be made a scapegoat for the loss.

The winger will get the chance to answer his critics on the pitch after coming through a training session on Tuesday with flying colours.

"Aaron trained this morning and he feels better," Redknapp said. "So I think he should be okay and he is available for tomorrow."

Redknapp insisted Tottenham will not throw caution to the wind against Real Madrid, despite facing a huge task to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.

"We will try and put in a performance and win the game and see where it takes us," he said. "We are going to have to attack, but we can't be that open. We are playing against a team of world-class players and what you don't want is to bomb everyone forward and get ripped apart on the counter attack. You have got to make sure it is controlled and take our chances when they come."
