Ramos claims Copa del Rey fine after bus drop

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos said the Copa del Rey is in good shape after he dropped the trophy under a wheel of the team bus.
The cup slipped from Ramos' grasp as Madrid celebrated their 1-0 victory over Barcelona on Wednesday night, and footage showed it was caught under a front wheel of the coach. However, Ramos told Telemadrid: "The cup fell, it fell, but the cup is in good shape."
Ramos' comments have been contradicted by a Spanish radio station, which claimed the trophy was 'in pieces' and the Copa del Rey was not see after the incident.
Ramos also hailed Jose Mourinho after he got the better of Barcelona to deliver his first piece of silverware to the club.
"Mourinho is the captain of our ship and we are with him to the death," he said. "What he is trying to instil in us is working wonderfully."
Barca president Sandro Rosell, meanwhile, feels there is cause for pride despite the defeat to their arch-rivals.
"We're not going away with our hands empty," he said on the club's official website. "We can take away plenty of pride, having played some great football. I am happy because of what the players have done and especially for the fans, who set a great example.
"Now we have to think about the next game and then the Champions League. We have to finish off the league and then press on. Barca is a very great institution and we'll get over this."
