Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has rejected reports in the Italian press linking him with a return to Inter Milan, labelling them "completely false" and pledging to remain at the Bernabeu next season.

Mourinho, 48, won his first trophy with Real on Wednesday, as Cristiano Ronaldo's goal gave Los Blancos a 1-0 victory over Barcelona in the final of the Copa del Rey.

The Portuguese boss may have successfully claimed his 18th piece of silverware in eight years, but the build-up to the final was dominated by speculation in Italy that Mourinho would be returning to his former club this summer.

Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Mourinho had pre-enrolled his children at the school they studied in during his time in Italy. The school, in Lugano, is less than an hour from Inter's Appiano Gentile training camp.

However, the 'Special One' insists he is happy at Real, and is determined to win more trophies with the club next season.

"What they're saying each day in Italy, that I will once again be coach of Inter next season, is false, completely false," Mourinho said. "I am more and more content and happy at Real Madrid.

"Normally, my teams are always better the second season than the first. Because of that, I want to be here next season, with the belief that Real Madrid will be better."

Mourinho's Real look certain to fall short in La Liga with Barcelona looking comfortable at the top, but the arch rivals meet in the Champions League semi-finals with a place in the Wembley final at stake.
