Fourth place not good enough - Richards

Micah Richards believes Manchester City should aim for the sky by targeting the Premier League title next season.
Having guaranteed a top-four place by beating Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 on Tuesday, City are set to launch a spending spree this summer, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cesc Fabregas reportedly top of their shortlist.
And Richards believes the sky is the limit for City if they can use the lure of Champions League football to attract some star names to Eastlands.
"Fourth place was a target and it's good to get there," he told the Daily Mail. "Ultimately, though, we have to look beyond it. A lot of people were putting us down and saying we weren't good enough to reach the Champions League - but we have proved them wrong.
"We are not stupid, we hear what people say. They are always having a go at us for spending money, but look at us - it's worked. We have proved how good we are.
"I have watched a lot of the Champions League. I watched Spurs this season and they did well getting to the quarter-finals. But there is no reason why we shouldn't do that. I am sure we will invest in the summer and make ourselves even stronger again."
